The New Jersey budget had a stalemate after a deadlock was reached forcing the state to temporarily lay off its employees and shut down non essential services.

The employees and the vacationers caught unexpectedly were forced to checked out and wait for the reopening orders.

The casinos reopened after Governor John Corzine issued an executive order for the casinos to resume its gaming operations.

The Governor gave his order right after the legislative body gave its approval to the $30.9 billion budget.

In Atlantic City, the workers who lost their jobs started to come back to their respective works.

The gaming floors are now open again and throngs of gamblers are flocking back in after realizing that they almost lost their opportunity to gamble.

The hotels and the twelve casinos are happy to have their dollar revenues return as the closing cost them in excess of $20 million per day.

But all of the casinos who were affected said that they cannot recoup the casino and revenue losses during the forced government closure, especially since the closure came during their peak season.
